You can’t get what you don’t ask for. They need to be more proactive and think they finally realize this will only work if they are

Need an actual business plan and marketing chops for this, so we'll see.

Didn‘t SU just hire someone to reach out to corporate sponsors?
I know they’ve been doing stuff behind the scenes for a bit but should be more aggressive and public.

SU sports is a great way to reach a broad consumer base given how important sports is to the community (and the lack of true professional sports in the immediate area). Some smart businesses will take advantage of this. All these kids have been growing social media followings for a while even before they get to campus. They have audiences beyond just the local community too. Folks should be tapping into it. If I ran a B2C I’d be all over with custom promotions and marketing deals.

From a fans perspective what’s the best NIL to be donating to? I’ve been doing a monthly football / basketball Orange United donation but unsure if that’s the best use of my (very very) tiny support.
