NIT

The NIT is taking 16 teams. Is SU good enough to make it? Currently SU is 9th in the ACC. I keep seeing only 6 are making the NCAAT. Assuming nothing changes, would the NIT take 3 in a field of only 16?

Just heard that if any team in the NCAAT hits a Covid pause before it begins, they will be replaced by the top seeds of the NIT. Potentially away for UNC or Georgia Tech to get in.

NIT will be held in Dallas this year at UNT and an arena in Frisco. Not sure if they’ll allow fans, but both locations are about 30 minutes from me.

In a normal year they'd want SU for its potential draw, but with attendance being limited at best, not sure we'd get that bump this season.

Texas just opened up...of course the NCAA will restrict attendance...50% or less???
