Right. First Team All-American by SB Nation. Second Team All-American by The Sporting News, USA Today, Football Writers Association of America and the Walter Camp Football Foundation. Third Team All-American by the Associated Press. Honorable Mention All-American by College Football News. Incredibly surprised that someone with all of those accolades would be left off of the NFL Draft combine invite list.

This is just silly. Ishmael is a very physical receiver, which I think is what the NFL would want.

This past year I spent much less time watching football on Sundays. Didn't miss it.

Just saw on the tweeter that Tim Lester's Western Michigan team is sending 4 kids. Have to think they're all Fleck recruits. Regardless, the orange tinted lenses I wear has me thinking that maybe, just maybe, there's enough tape and scouts who were in person for games on a Steve Ishmael-type against high level competition that having kids in Indy who didn't play against the best is who the scouts NEED to see.

And a kid like Ishmael can have his pro-day evaluation and interviews regardless.

Probably over-thinking. It's what I do.

This is his first recruiting class and it not a single one is even invited to the combine.

Difference between player development and inheriting players who are 5-foot-nothing and 100-and-nothing. It's not possible to develop players into NFL type players who have no measurables.
