If he does play, Q will play a ton and cover him in man whenever DJ is in. He is our best defender and I think the only player we have that can handle him.

Both are elite trash talkers and extremely competitive. They got increasingly physical with each other until they almost had a fight, whereupon the refs took control of the game and called a technical on both of them. They helped to calm things down.

But in a tourney atmosphere with a lot on the line, I am thinking if DJ plays, a fight is likely to happen.

This is something to keep an eye out for. These guys do not like each other at all.

Or if he does it won’t go well. Hip injuries are very uncomfortable and are a major issue for a guard. Messes with everything. Easier to defend him and much harder for him to defend our backcourt.

Omier didn’t play for Miami and half the team didn’t play for Oregon, that’s two massive breaks right there that, if flipped, probably doesn’t even have Syracuse in this (admittedly precarious) position. This team should beat Nc state because they’ve already done it twice.
