As an aside, I was hopeful that we'd play at Schoellkopf while the Dome was being renovated. It's too small for ACC play on a long term basis, but it would be neat for a year. It's an incredible stadium, and I like the tradition of NY football. It would be nice to see meaningful football echo through it's walls again.
That's the one thing that the SEC schools can't buy. They have a bunch of wins, huge stadiums (some of which are technically old), and, in some cases, programs older than SU's. But none of them will ever play a game in a stadium that has a sense of history/tradition. Places like Alabama's stadium might as well be the Meadowlands. Places like Cornell's stadium might as well be a museum (which is actually what part of it is)
