Notre Dame Gameday...

Today surpassed the Atlanta game, the next four were other Cuse home games, then the next two were last weekend.

Great first game of the year for me & the fam to attend. Raynor still had spots for us (got there at 1:15) so your info worked out perfectly, thanks JeremyCuse

My MVPs are Joey, Caccamo/Kuczynski (because I struggle to tell 28 from 26), Mullen and McCool.

Seeing Anderson in person handling big, physical ND long sticks means he’s gotta be the #3 attackman. Love Thomson and Deere but 88 is a tank out there.

And he’s only going to get better as he adjusts to college defenders.

The cross check flag on Riley (when the ND player fell into his legs) was laughably horrible.

#13 on ND (Taylor) is cheap AF. A lot of ND players play act and whine after contact. They’re the perfect reflection of Corrigan.

Some of the sets they ran with Rhoa driving down an alley and feeding back to the middle were fantastic!

The defense holding ND scoreless for 2.75 quarters was awesome. Jimmy choked them out with some huge saves when they got it going late.

Billy D needs to clean up his decision making with the ball, he was a turnover machine.

Couldn’t have asked for a better performance for my boys’ first Dome lax game!

Gonna have to agree with Mr. Fetterly on this one. The entire defense was incredible today. Carter Rice turning back all of those speedy guys on the dodge along with being a one man clear. He is our MVP. What a player. Then on top of that there were plenty of quality moments 1v1 from Levine spallina and Ochoa. A unit that I think was one of our major concerns in the off-season is slowly starting to look like a strength. Levine is quietly having a very strong year turning away guys 1v1.

We did not make it easy for them with all those failed clears and turnovers in the second half, but they still locked in and kept turning them away. Figueras had an incredible day too.

I think we have officially put the Harvard debacle behind us. I am legit excited for our tourney prospects again. Top efficiency on offense, defense, in goal, and at the x. And now we are closing out games better too. To the moon cuse!!!

That should secure a tourney berth. We’re now playing for seeding. It would be nice to get a top 4 seed and avoid having to face an elite team until the Final 4.
Are they ever going to expand the tourney?

Important game for Spallina.

Four goals and an assist against Lyght, a first team All American last year. Beat him off the dodge quite a few times, got loose against him a few times off ball; truthfully Spallina should have another goal or two if not for the Notre Dame goalie.

Anderson has been a revelation since being inserted into the starting line up. His explosiveness is refreshing and leads me to an interesting discussion. With Joey not being as explosive an athlete and Anderson showing his willingness to take people to the rack; do you move your #1 cover guy (whose typically the more/most athletic defender) to the bigger, taller, more explosive Anderson? It’s an interesting discussion and thought and albeit it very premature, this current track of development by Anderson oozes potential match up issues.
