I'm a long time lurker who visits the site several times a day. I can't get enough Orange info! Despite being born and raised in Indiana and having no true affiliation to Syracuse, I have been a diehard Orange fan since I was 6 years old.

I'm taking my wife, 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter to the ND game (kids first Cuse game) and we can't wait for next Saturday.

I have tickets already but have been looking to upgrade since it's my kids first Orange game. I have found some tickets in Section 14 row 2 (right under the Orange 2nd half basket I believe). They are pricey but I don't really care cause I can't wait for my kids to see the Orange up close and hopefully get an autograph or two from some of their favorite players (they love Scoop). Before I spend the $ I want to make sure this isn't the ND student section. Does anyone know? I've contacted several ticket brokers to find out and I'm getting conflicting answers. Can someone help me please?

I believe the student section is at the opposite end of the court. And get ready to hear the most lame student section in college sports.

They sure are lame. I've been to every Cuse game at ND since 1991 when Billy Owens lit up ND for 31 and 10 including the game winner with a few ticks left. That was awesome! I believe this was the game when the day or two before a bunch of Orangemen were suspended or going to be suspended and a bunch of football players were supposed to suit up. I don't know the exact details as there was no Syracusefan.com at the time and I was only 10 years old.

I was at the game when we broke out the blue jerseys and McAlarney lit us up from 15 feet behind the 3-point line. That was great to hear those lame high-pitched cheers from their majority ginger students.

You can bet - every team we are up against this year will be considerably more amped up to beat us - I worry about this one, the Cinn. game and the WVU game. Let's hope the family enjoys a great win at ND.
