he negotiated a 4 million dollar interview opt out clauseMarrone just cancelled his interview.
And the GM thought Marrone was bad at his job. Turns out he was. It's not about "liking". He thought the GM was bad at his job. Turns out he was.
9-7...first winning season in a decade. Hmmm... then why didn't they fire Marrone and why is everyone throwing hissy fits if he was that bad? Jilted lovers. And the GM thought Marrone was bad at his job. Turns out he was.
Yep, first winning season in a decade on the most talented Bills team in at least a decade. Who brought in those players? If the GM is so bad then why didn't they fire him?9-7...first winning season in a decade. Hmmm... then why didn't they fire Marrone and why is everyone throwing hissy fits if he was that bad? Well, you say Marrone was bad. So, if he was and Whaley failed to recognize that and fire him, using your own view of Marrone, he's a bad GM. Very bad.Yep, first winning season in a decade on the most talented Bills team in at least a decade. Who brought in those players? If the GM is so bad then why didn't they fire him?
I would swear he was from Sweden! He's in Sweden
there's hope yet, maybefuture broncos fans
it is odd. You'd think that sexton would know better. Maybe Marrone quit against sextons better judgment and all the leaks and nonsense was sexton being desperateMadNY3 said:Not to be lost in this, Marrone's agent is culpable and likely pimping the hell out of Doug to get looks.
He punts even on interviews.Marrone just cancelled his interview.
So I got this binder. Lemme show you."doug what was that plan"
"uhhhhhhhh"
Most talented D yes, offense not so much. Getting to 9 wins with a qb off the street with no camp in this league is very good. Not sure why that is difficult to acknowledge for some other than just plain bitterness about the exit.Yep, first winning season in a decade on the most talented Bills team in at least a decade. Why is it so difficult for the Marrone club members to acknowledge that the offense plummeted after Gailey left and the Marrone braintrust took over? Most talented D yes, offense not so much. Yeah it plummeted all the way to 9 wins, but I'm sure Rex the offensive miracle worker will bring back that exciting brand of offensive football that made him so successful in NY.Why is it so difficult for the Marrone club members to acknowledge that the offense plummeted after Gailey left and the Marrone braintrust took over?
And how many head coaching offers has Marrone had since quitting the Bills?
Exactly.
What does Ryan have to do with Marrone?
Peyton Manning is the real head coach in Denver who are we kidding. Peyton runs the offense, calls the plays, audibles out of anything he wants and essentially comes up with the game plan each week.
The head coach in Denver has to not step on Peyton's toes and just make sure the defense is just decent.
Now if Peyton is going to retire and not come back, that goes from being one of the best jobs in the NFL to not being that great as you will take your lumps with a young QB for a few years.

Living in Rochester and working in Buffalo 4 days a week it's impossible to ignore the hero's welcome Ryan received despite his lack of accomplishments. What he lacks in wins he makes up for in bluster, but that has the fan base excited. Either way I could care less about St. Doug personally or his next job and not hating the guy apparently qualifies for MFC status on this board. I can't say the same about this guys detractors in this board, however. Honestly you're like a bunch of weepy teenage girls who just got dumped by your first crush. Let it go, he dumped you for greener pastures time to move on.Nothing, except to MFC members. I would think that they'd be concerned more about Marrone's next gig than about the Bills.

Why would I not complain about the offense? It was terrible!Other than Marrone beating Rex like a drum not much. Just raining on Orange's excitement over getting rid of his mediocre coach. Same old Bills- they get handed their first 9 win season in years and complain about the offense. It's always cloudy in Buffalo-
I am convinced that they thought the Jets job was theirs.it is odd. You'd think that s e xton would know better. Maybe Marrone quit against s e xtons better judgment and all the leaks and nonsense was s e xton being desperate
Who know, wild guess
