now schefter says marrone getting broncos interview

You must know an awful lot of people then. I don't think that's true at all.
Fox had them picked 4th in the AFC East. Bleacher report (i know I know, credibility issues) had them predicted to be 4-12. USAToday predicted the Bills to be 3-13, A Vegas site's algorithm had them pegged at 6-10, Sporting News didn't predict record but had the Bills as the 29th best team (The Jets by the way were 15th). And ESPN also had them pegged to be 29th best team. Not many peopel (outside WNY) expected the Bills to win 9 games and almost make the playoffs.

Sounds like a credit to the Bills special teams.

That, and the defense. Also indicates that the "points scored" stat is not necessarily (and certainly not in the case of the 2014 Buffalo Bills) an accurate measure of the quality of an offense.

These predictions are dumb and meant to sell subscriptions and earn clicks. Your guys at USA Today also had the Cowboys predicted to go 3-13. They won 12 games. CBS Sports also had the Cowboys winning 6 games - less than the Bills' 7. And the fact that you even bring Bleacher Report up is a joke. Whoever did the ESPN poll that put the Bills as the 29th best team in football is an idiot.

Everyone knew the Bills had one of the best D's in the NFL. Question was what the offense would give them. Bills won 8 games and a meaningless 9th.

Also - the point isn't that Marrone didn't do a good job. It's that the Marrone cronies on this board think he did the best job anyone could do with the team. I don't think he did, and I don't think I'm alone.

Of course you think they're dumb because you don't agree with them. LOL. You're cute!;) And I really doubt anyone said "we'll sell more if we say the Bills will stink."

Ravens tight ends coach Brian Pariani will join the Broncos staff in the same role, according to the Denver Post.
Other than a short misguided adventure in Syracuse, Pariani has been glued to Kubiak's hip.

Pariani is so much like George in the fact that they both are good coaches who have limits. I think that George will be a solid life long assistant coach. One who will remain a position coach. Same as Pariani who will go down in history as the worst OC in the history of Syracuse football. He was so bad he was special.

There is something admirable about people who find a job they're good at and stick to it. He is going to retire very wealthy. It's a shame that it went so bad here but if it taught him to be comfortable with a good job in his wheelhouse, it worked out

Glad you've finally come around- all I've ever said is St. Doug getting the Bills to 9 wins was a good season. It took stones to go w Orton over EJ- and you've repeatedly defended Orton as a pretty decent qb. Who made that decision? For some reason that sentiment makes the emotional Bills fans on this board lose their minds.

Based on these threads, you calling anyone emotional is equivalent to Marrone calling someone grumpy.

Emotional? Hardly- I'm not the one attacking him personally or name calling those who disagree with your point of view- Just give the man a tiny bit of credit and move on with your life, as sad and depressing as it may be (rooting for the Bills, that is)

@ryanohalloran
#jaguars hire Doug Marrone as assistant head coach-offensive line.
