Amazing that we couldn’t find a way to use Toney earlier. Took injuries to Slayton and Shepard for him to see the field. Because it’s still 1997 and you can’t play 4 WRs.

Ok, should be 2-2 at least. But are 1-3. Got some ground to make up, but we clearly can compete with most teams. Found a way to win for once - hopefully a good sign going forward.

One positive is Jones has played pretty well. There is clearly talent at the skill positions - need to figure out how to best utilize it if everyone is healthy. Nice to have depth at WR.

Defense is ok, but I had higher hopes. We look middle of the pack there. Pass rush is not good enough.

I will be satisfied with 8 wins, happy with 9. That W saved the season for now. Big one at Dallas next week.

I’m not a fan of taking a shot downfield on 3rd and 3 from deep in your own territory. Especially when you haven’t completed one pass all game.

Short of turnovers, im not sure it’s possibly to have worse and more frustrating offensive series’s than we’ve had so far.
