When they give McCord time in the pocket, he is unbelievable. He will play on Sundays,
Teams are going to start pressuring him moving forward. Cuse will have to adjust!!!When they give McCord time in the pocket, he is unbelievable. He will play on Sundays,
They pressured us all game, our O line picked up every pressure it was super impressive!Teams are going to start pressuring him moving forward. Cuse will have to adjust!!!
And cows in the fieldThere's hay in the barn
Agree. Props to our oline are due also. Pretty good play so far. Still some stuff to work on but they deserve some love.I think Mc Cord helps the O Line a lot, because he doesn’t panic and he’s able to stay in the pocket looking for receivers, so the linesmen don’t need to look behind trying to understand if the QB is still there or he’s started to move around out of the pocket
Remember when you and I talked about what Syracuse could be with the right coach? Remember when you said that Wake had a higher ceiling than us? We can both agree...we got the right guy now and we can do things here.Teams are going to start pressuring him moving forward. Cuse will have to adjust!!!
Ya he made a few throws that support the nerds' contention that sacks are a QB stat. Hold it another split second or have worse pocket presence & nobody is saying the OL played great.I think Mc Cord helps the O Line a lot, because he doesn’t panic and he’s able to stay in the pocket looking for receivers, so the linesmen don’t need to look behind trying to understand if the QB is still there or he’s started to move around out of the pocket
And we will - our defense looked like Swiss cheese last week, literally night and day this week without our preseason AA linebacker. Our specials looked rough this week and I’m sure we’ll see improvement there next time out.Teams are going to start pressuring him moving forward. Cuse will have to adjust!!!
Had a huge last second block on the game ending 1st down pass to OGLQA has been underrated in his blitz pickup in the backfield too. Some big chips today on his part.
Shout out to the line and Dave Williams.
Yep and 3 of the 5 were here last year. So that should tell you something. How about just no false starts. I said before when you watch Georgia they never have those types of infractions. The line is playing great and the stuff that drove us crazy forever is now cleaned up (at least for now)
McCord makes quick reads which doesn't give teams much opportunity to get after him.Remember when you and I talked about what Syracuse could be with the right coach? Remember when you said that Wake had a higher ceiling than us? We can both agree...we got the right guy now and we can do things here.
When they brought 5/6 often times, we kept a back into protect and waited patiently for the drag route. As long McCord can hold the ball for 2 1/2 seconds on a blitz, we will punish blitzing teams. They pressured us all game, our O line picked up every pressure it was super impressive!
They keep blaming their line. Again brought in highly rated players on the line. Eventually have to look at the qb and how long he holds the ball.Watching Colorado tonight and it’s hilarious that they let Savion get away from them (yes I know the stories that also contributed to him leaving)
As long as Shedeur “special treatment” Sanders is the QB you can forget about that. They keep blaming their line. Again brought in highly rated players on the line. Eventually have to look at the qb and how long he holds the ball.
