Official Colgate Game Thread...

Am I the only one who thinks the D is pretty shaky? Especially the backs. Worried when we play a P5 school.

They've adjusted pretty well. Drops certainly helped them. Slayton and Cordy are playing really well.

If not for a running into the kicker penalty, they're pitching a shutout.

SU run game is only keeping Colgate's D honest. Colgate's D strength is the run game. No need to play to their strength.

I don't know. I think Cordy has looked great tonight. My defensive MVP. Whitner's stepped it up in the second half. Haven't paid as much attention to the CBs. Most worried this year about the safeties because they're so undersized.

That reminds me, I need to get to the bank to inquire about a loan. I feel like bringing a pig on a leash is going to make a pretty solid statement about my credit worthiness.

The inverted wishbone is pretty much the only thing I don't like about this offense so far.

Run game is ugly

And the interior guys were supposed to be the strength of the line. Oh well, it's the first game and they're going against Colgate's strength on defense.

The quick passes are helping the O-line, but they are struggling against Colgate's D-line to move them anywhere.

I really like that we're getting the ball to our playmakers. Ishmael, Erv, Etta-Tawo, Estime, Strickland. Pretty much it. It's like Boeheim, let your best scorers shoot the most shots.

Think we're going to have another bad season with some blowout losses but Babers has us on the right track. Like he said 1.5 seasons. Plus we could use some upgrades.

The run game includes all the short screen passes as far as I am concerned... Far from perfect on offense but love what will be in time... Meat heads need to let go. Also seeing how Dunget will stay healthy this year

This dungey under center stuff is killing my buzz. Perhaps Babers is keeping the plays conservative now thinking we have this game?
