Check out Rutgers. He’s been able to pay assistant coaches more money and their recruiting is on the up swing.

I think that says most of our assistant coaches are not really P5 desirable. Lustig went kind of sideways to Vandy, but not really, because they are technically a SEC program. Monroe is a must keep...

I'm fine with up and coming position coaches coming from far away places. I just would prefer the head coach with NE roots that has kind of been there and done that, and wants to come home type of model. Must less of a success flight risk...

In a standard order of operations, I’d worry about the success first and success flight risk way later. Much easier to recruit coaches to successful programs.

Being a state university, Rutgers also has deeper pockets than SU.

Pretty simple in a way. If you think the bar should be coach P level success, you’ve probably missed how CFB has changed since those days. If you’re resigned to 3 wins a year (haven’t met that fan here honestly) you have too low of standards. I think it’s 100% fair to compare ourselves to Wake, Pitt, BC. And in that comparison, we’ve not matched them in Dino’s tenure.

But I have hope that he’s still that guy. This year will tell us a lot.
