For me it's because in order, their top players are a senior, a junior and I believe a sophomore and they each seem to be decent guys and they don't play for Cal or K. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

According to the Vegas expert on ESPN earlier, Duke-UK would have set the record for the highest wagered college hoops game ever. It would have been epic. So that's the kernel of truth in what he said. If you're actually letdown by a pick 'em matchup of two #1 seeds (and not just using hyperbole), however - you're a clown.

While Wisconsin is slow at times in their offence, they are clearltnot playing the dreaded stall ball. There is always purpose to the offence, and they showed last night they were not afraid to attack early if the matchup is there.

Half of their fans have no affiliation to the university or the state of North Carolina and probably have zero clue where the school is even located. It's very bandwagonish. A LOT of random Duke fans all over Connecticut here which should be UCONN country if anything. I see a lot of people dressed up in Duke gear walking around now that they're in FF, people who I can guarantee did not go there.

lets be honest. there are a ton of bandwagon SU fans out there too, esp after the past few years.

I welcome them. its a byproduct of success and whether or not you like Duke, they are a monolith of success in college hoops.
