I think it was worse watching Duke roll into MSG and clobber a ranked opponent. That should have been Cuse last night.

I hate being inconsequential in the ACC. The only that’s changed is SU abdicated any concerns about the basketball program because they were held hostage.

i believe as host if you are knocked out in the first round of play you are entitled to pick up the ball , shut off the lights , end the whole tournament and stomp home. at least that's what i remember from childhood.

C'mon...they beat Le Moyne.

And the Athletic today has Red Autry's coaching seat as "getting warmer."
In his defense they site fact that Alex Kline came aboard too late to do much for this year's roster.
Also the talent in next season's recruiting class.

Nova is considered similar...but Kyle Neptune is on the hot seat.

I'm not surprised. I had seasons for almost 35 years when I lived up there. I think I paid $14 or $17 a game in 1982. On the first level. Now I watch on TV from afar. Sometimes go when they play the Panthers down here. I met Ted once. They invited me to sit in his suite once during the 30th year I had tickets. He was very unfriendly. But dinner downstairs in his private dining room after the 1st period was very good. Sat with Dick Patrick. But my seats were better than his suite and we went back to them for the 3rd period. I'm really enjoying Ovi's march to break The Great One's record. With at least 3 of us on here should we have an "Other Sports" thread on the Caps? I can post tweets of the videos of Ovi's goals which I send to a friend in Syracuse.

I started an NHLthread .. lite enough traffic wise such that it is amenable to team specific topics ., we got a few leafs fans in there . Would welcome caps fans . Most hockey fans are fans of the entire league and not just 1 team .. Ovy had 3 today including another patented empty netter (I kid . I kid )

Actually it wasn't his patented empty netter. This one was a little more difficult as it was from inside his defensive zone but was dead center of the net. His "patented" ones are usually close to the goal.

Sorry, I hadn't seen your NHL Thread. I looked for any other Caps threads. I thought maybe given his quest for The Great One's record maybe it deserved its own thread, for now. I'll see how it goes. I came across at least 3 or 4 other Caps threads on here recently. Thanks.

P.S. BTW - before I started the Caps thread I did a search for Capitals but nothing came up in your thread. But I may not have looked at everything.
