Oronde Gadsden II ... the "OG"

Sure
What I meant is, are you just basing this off last season or did you hear things from the spring practices? I’m not asking you to give up your informants.

We desperately need him to step up.

major concerns going forward…. I hate the NCAA but they NEED to do something or there won’t be a parody left in CFB. Thank god OG was faithful…. I couldn’t stomach losing him along with Duce and jahad

The NCAA has no interest in parody. Oops, parity.

Correct. He has Day 1 potential with a good year. Turn down the short-term gains for the long-term potential.
I also wonder if he saw Carter and Duce (understand he was hurt) go from two of the biggest names on a team to second stringers/just another guy at high profile schools. I think there is more hype to be generated to help your draft spot when you are the top guy on the team. NIL is great for a year, but real wealth can be created by getting into the league.

Art Monk wasn't a blazer, but caught a lot of passes in a long career.
At 6-foot-3, 210 pounds, Monk ran a 4.5 40 when he entered the league in 1980. That put him ahead of the curve for players of that size in the early '80s. 4.5 is pretty fast for his size but Collinsworth ran a 4.38 and has both Monk, 4.5 also and Gasden beat in the speed department.

4.38 is elite speed. Collinsworth was a track athlete and won the Florida state championship in the 100 yard dash in hs which he says nothing compares to, not football, nothing. Collinsworth is 6' 5" 196, at least when he played for Cincy.
Career NFL statistics
Receptions:417
Receiving yards:6,698
Yards per reception:16.1
Receiving touchdowns:36

Art Monk:

4.5 isn't exactly slow, but all receivers at SU except for Marvin have a ways to go if they make it to the NFL:

There was never parity in NCAA athletics

It’s just not simply how the NCAA works

You have private schools and state schools and the money and alumni bases between them are massive

It’s just simply not possible to have parity in college football…

They could try to have some parity in NIL but that’s unlikely

You don’t find quiet, humble, loyal superstars often. Happy Birthday big fella!
Our next high draft pick NFL guy, who stayed true in this NIL era. He will be one of my favorites once his time here concludes at the end of the year. Start the Mackey award hype now!

He's quite the talent and I enjoy watching him play, glad he stayed.

I can see why Shrader looks to him so often but hopefully he can get confident with other receivers as well and this will help OG and the team move to the next level passing wise.

I hope the other receivers (TE/slots and WRs) see the work OG has put in and learn "what it takes" to be a prime target. I mean talented guys like Alford and Hatcher, if they can make a similar jump as receivers like Gadsden did last year...

WOW!

Just get open! Just follow the yellow brick road and you will end up in OZ. Best designed routes for the best route runner.
