Interesting article in the Washington Post about how doctors are worried how youth today playing one single sport all year round can have long-term negative impacts on their joints/ligaments/muscles. A generation ago, you played your sport in its season and that was it, but now its often year-round. Places like the Mayo Clinic are strongly advocating that if a kid wants to play sports year-round its much better to "cross-train" and play multiple different sports so that you don't constantly put the same repetitive stress on the same parts of your body.
