OT: Florida Fires Head Coach Will Muschamp

If their next HC is in need of a WR coach/Florida recruiter I think there may be one available in Central NY

Does he get another HC job or does he go to someplace like T A&M as DC?

Big time program DC, lower level power 5 conference teams or "Mid Major" HC.

I believe big time school DC as well. Maybe some dumb low Power 5 school like Illinois takes a look at him as HC if they fire Beckman.

I almost want that to happen so we can see the guys he reels in during his first year. "But he's not a great recruiter!"

In the meantime, open season on their commits. Let's go!!!

Cause recruiting at Florida wouldn't have anything to do with that?

Success as a recruiter should be judged on how well one does with the pool of prospects who will listen. Some kids wouldn't listen to Urban Meyer if he was selling Syracuse right now.

Spurrier knew after game Will was done. He was somber towards him and know they are good buddies.

Hey Thomas Holley - Care to come back to NY?

The firing of Muschamp offers some insight into the situation at Syracuse. Muschamp had great defenses and 3 offensive coordinators in 4 years…his first was Charlie Weis. What is the point for Cuse? Money and big name offensive coordinators doesn't solve all problems. Shafer has only had 2 years, he needs to fix his offense in order to keep his job.

Adazzio to UF?

Hugh Freeze and Dan Mullen would both have to turn them down first.

My guess is Bob Stoops is the next Florida coach. I think the natives in Oklahoma will be ticked off at how they have underachieved a lot. Stoops was Steve Spurrier's D-Coordinator and he would finally be in the SEC.

Awesome.

Fire SS now.

Sign him up!!!!

Hmmm wonder where Kurt Roper goes ? Let's take a look.
More likely is the return of Brian White.
He can bring his QB son (2016) back to the Dome.

How great is it that he is getting a $6.3 mil buyout? Wow, good lord. For all the stress that these guys deal with and all of the other money they've made up to this point, I'd be building a house on the hillside in Antigua. He could come back and join CBS as an analyst... if he so chooses... or not.

Peace. You wouldn't see too much of me again.
