OT guilty pleasures favorite cheesy 80's songs

[Song: Master Blaster (Jammin')]
Not his best era, but Stevie always shined. This is one of his better ones from the 80s.

[Song: Young lust]
Can you say best soft-core porn scene in any mainstream movie?
My favorite band.

You are bringin the noise today! You aint screwing around, nice call on Tears for Fears.

Bono, sporting the classic 80s muff.
Muff said.

Believe he is wearing a Sneaky Pete's t-shirt in that one. Was a bar in Latham/Albany area they played way way back.

Was there a better summer song? And no Huey Lewis was not better.

[song: boys of summer]

Saw Tears for Fears at SPAC in the early 90s and it's still the best sounding show I ever heard in person. Saw Oleta Adams in Seattle in 2005 with my wife. Great singer.

[song: woman in chains]

It's funny last night I was going through the songs and my wife was getting mad they would stop when I turned the page. I had to explain I wasn't turning them off. Lol

I keep them open in a separate tab because i was pissing myself off.

You guys are just lucky I didn't bring my wife into this one. We would crush you all. She has even more varied tastes than mine.

Here is one of our favorites.

Yeah me too, separate tabs in Opera.

Saw Tom Petty in Knickerbocker Arena Albany (went to SUNY). Arena has been renamed since.
Great live performer.

When were you there? My brother used to bartend at Bogie's. I used to be down there all the time as well as at Michael's on Madison.

Word! Bogart's, Michael's, WTs, Long Branch (I played bass at happy hour there), another good meat market one Peabody's I think?
Graduated 1995 (on time, haha).

Off campus, I lived on Myrtle (other side of Madison Ave. not far from Madison's) then on Quail, right by main student ghetto Senior year.

Pretty funny. I graduated in 95 from ESF, but I was only there two years. The previous two I was back in the Albany area (even took a couple courses at SUNY Albany) working and having fun at all of those bars. Used to hit Lark St. and those bars as well, but spent a lot of time at Quintessence back then.

Quality, Lark St. downtown area was great, especially after my punk wiseguy Freshman and Soph years.
Worked for a brief stint at a pizzeria right on Lark.
