OT: Harbaugh at his finest

Harbaugh wasn't at his best clearly but an interview is a 2 way street. Some of that is on Colin as well. Want better answers ask better and more direct questions

That was just so tough to get through. Just awkward for everyone, Coach, Cowherd, audience

His questions were fine
If you want direct answers ask direct questions. If you keep asking open ended questions with no real direction you may get that. If a couple minutes into the interview this is going bad, adjust and start asking some more direct questions.

Harbaugh was worse than Colin but Colin has to shoulder some blame for that train-wreck as well.

He was asking open ended questions to get him to actually answer a question. Harbaugh didnt even give Colin a chance. From the first question on, you could tell Harbaugh didnt feel like giving an interview

Any coach worth his salt should be loving those questions. They were lobs above the net!!

I thought Cowherd was asking stupid questions. With his phony enthusiasm and fake radio voice. I'm not surprised Harbaugh was a less than compelling guest. Two douchebags uncomfortable jerking each other off.

When you see the interview going south as an "interviewer" you adjust the style and try to get it back on track. Colin didn't. They are both at fault for that disaster

Cowherd's a douche, couldn't happen to better guy
Word is ESPN might not be re-signing him as he is asking for a boatload of money and his contract is up soon. And like with Bill Simmons ESPN is saying don't let the door hit ya on the way out. They are even forcing a co-host on him so if/when he is done they have his replacement in line to take over

thank goodness although I don't hold out hope ESPN would put anyone worth their salt in as a replacement. I haven't listened to Cowherd in a good 5 years, just cannot stand him or his shtick

His shtick has kept his show in the top three year after year. Same as Jim Rome who gets bashed here. In my opinion there is no question Colin could have asked him to rehabilitate that interview.

jim rome has a national radio show. everyday for three hours.

cowherd, who rubs some people the wrong way, is basically the best at what he does. love him or hate him, he is very good and makes an assload of money doing it. cowherd does great interviews with all kinds of successful people. harbaugh was a complete stooge today for the entirety of the interview. he was terrible. cowherd was trying to give him any chance to not completely suck, and harbaugh just continued to suck harder.

Colin is far from the best but he is good at what he does

Olbermann might be on his way out of ESPN as well, per a report 95% chance he doesn't return as his contract is up soon as well. Pretty much ESPN running off anyone who says anything bad about anyone (Simmons, Cowhered, Olbermann)...they want puppets who kiss butt of all professional athletes and commissioners and they want nobody with an original thought. And nobody can challenge anyone ever...as ESPN wants to be buddy buddy with all leagues.
