OT: LOL @ Cowboys

Something similar happened to RG3 against the Giants.

I saw a guy catch a ball, have 2 feet down, make a move then recover his loose ball (not even really a fumble).

The legislation in football makes our government look simple.

Who knew the ground can actually cause a fumble. all u Cowboy haters. Any Jint, Jill or Pats fan would be apoplectic if that was called on your team. And karma? What happened to Tom Brady's karma for the tuck rule? He went on to win 3 SBs.

It doesnt happen to us giants fans because we win titles as opposed to falling short every season and then blaming the officials

I hope this is enough for a rule change. If this happened to the Giants people on this board would be irate.
pretty clear by rule. 10 years ago its incomplete because it hit the ground.. now its only incomplete if the ball is dislodged once it makes contact.. its his fault he tried to continue the play instead of just securing the ball.

Same concept as the calvin Johnson play a couple years back. Everything about it screams catch, except the damn ground.

Winning 4 trophies is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations!

It just goes to show you how big of a role the referees play in these games.
The ref made the right call...I think. But the rule is stupid. Perrera stated that Bryant had clear possession of the ball, but didn't complete the play. For my money, once you say the player has clear control of The ball, you must treat all players the same. For example a running back who has complete control of the ball and then hits the ground, it's not called a fumble. Same should be for the wide receiver. Shitty rule.

I was rooting for Green Bay,

But stupidest rule and call ever, absolutely sickening. Ground can cause a incomplete pass, what a crap rule imo.
The minute he had the ball cradled in his one arm it should have be ruled a catch in my opinion.

That one play Ruined the entire game literrally, I would never bother rewatching a game that ended like that. Defenetly not a instant classic, and a shame because this is slated to be the best nfl plaoffs in years.

Dallas really was putting the momentum on green bay all game on the road.

I felt the same way last week when the PI being overturned ruined the whole game.

I will acknowledge that it doesn't. The Cowboys didn't make enough plays on either side of the ball. The Packers were unfortunately just a little bit better today.

What made the bryant catch even stranger was the green baye defender hit the ball tried to strip it and bryant clearly moves the ball in midair to his outside hand and cradling it, extends it towards the endzone, this wasn't like the typical basket catch bring it into your chest catch where you wonder if they really have possesion, not even close. That ball was cradled. I guess receivers have to break their fingers on the freezing ground.

Which Dallas fans are you referring to. It seems to me that all the folks posting on this board are Cowboy haters. I am Dallas fan and if you read the other sports board is not what I am saying. Dallas pass rush was nonexistent. The third down pass with 40 seconds to go in the first half was a terrible call. They should have run the ball and gone for the first down. Missing the field goal and giving the ball back to Green Bay in reasonable field position leading to a field goal of their own was a huge momentum shift.

Let see how well Rodgers does when he actually has to face a real pass rush from Seattle.

All my jerkoff cowboy friends who bombarded me with that drivel last week. Funny how their tuned changed when it went negatively against them.

And i hope seattle murders them next week. I could care less about green bay. them too and aaron rodgers
