two games into the conference season, at lest 3/4 of the board is worried whether a 1 seed will be automatic when (not if) SU wins the ACC . . . I'd say overconfidence is certainly the word, and tomorrow's game is just the tip of the iceberg

And ending the year with 4 of 6 games on the road, most in venues we have never seen. That alone keeps me from ordering my FF tickets.

When I think of the term "meltdown," I think of fans losing grip with reality. I also think of fans blasting the players on their own team, which I find odious. I don't think most of the fans here are like that. We may be sad, distressed, worried, angry but I think there will be very little invective involved. Hence, no true "MELTDOWN."

I probably talk as much trash about the opposition as the next poster, but no game should be taken for granted. As you mention, talent, depth, rebounding and also an up and down pace to the game makes me nervous in the pants. Still, if any team has the mindset to battle a team playing up for the game, it's Cuse.

Good post. The odds are in favor of SU playing well, but certainly anything can happen in this game or any other at this level. Win or lose, this game decides nothing, no matter what you may hear. And sorry about your pants.
