Now when I hear JB say in an article with the Athletic that hes not recruiting any players, its just so Duke and tucky dont get their antenas pointed towards syracuse

One thing to keep in mind it is still VERY EARLY. So it’s not time to panic yet. There are still plenty of quality players in the portal and there are plenty of quality players that will be in the portal that aren’t there yet. Remember Gillon when we got him was a late Portal entry. Also we obviously didn’t get Andrew white to commit until pretty much the very last week.
I know we want to freak out but we are still Syracuse. Believe it our not, things will work themselves out. We will get a quality player or two this summer.

Oh, there will be the usual crowd that will say otherwise. Towns would have been the bigger get. But we’re looking at another mediocre year.

You can’t win consistenly in college basketball without balance. Our talent is not elite like it used to be.
This isn’t a big loss but it’s just a sign we are likely looking at a traditional transfer at best now.

We have 3 open scholarships. Recruiting for HS 2020 is going to be really hard with the incumbents we have in the backcourt and our 2021 commit. So we better get some transfers this offseason.
