I was listening to XM radio this afternoon, and there were two national guys discussing the ACC and the fact that it was a down year. To be honest I only listened for a few minutes because I ended up taking a call but before I did the discussion changed to their frustration that Syracuse has not paid its dues in the ACC yet. They premise was the old guard expected when Syracuse, Pitt and Notre Dame joined they would struggle in some games and have to learn how to play in the ACC. In fact one guy went on about how the BC game was a great example of how it is tough to go on the road against a lesser opponent in the ACC and Syracuse should have lost because they need to learn those lessons in ACC. I could not believe my ears. I get that we will have to earn respect in a new league and will be treated as outsiders but to have to pay our dues and to say JB will have to learn some lessons is crazy to me! We did not just upgrade from the Ivey League, or SEC
for that matter... some of us see it as a downgrade from the Big East.. When we roll this league this year the old guard will have to line up to kiss our ring! I guess the only one learning a lesson was me, tuning into XM at the wrong time of day.
