How does JB not know about the tape?

Or if he knows, he still allows the whole "empty chair" crap at MSG?

Fabricio brought up the idea of leaving the seat empty. The rest of the players agreed with him. It wasn't Boeheim's idea.

From my eyes (and DVR), there was no empty chair on the bench during the MSG games.

We didn.t know about the tape until the SPD (and probably SU) did, which was only a handful of days ago. Did JB know about the tape before today? I would bet that he did, but I'm fairly sure he didnt know about it when he made his comments.

I think "the tape" was brought up just before JB's soft spoken interview in NYC. That interview did not look good to anybody and one could guess that someone had just dropped that bombshell on him.

JB knew about the tape before today? Probably so, but I doubt he knew exactly what was on the tape. Somebody on this board was tipped off, it appears, by people inside the SPD that a tape existed. I don't recall the exact phrase that was said to be on the tape, but I didn't see anything that sounded like it in the transcript (which is more than damning enough in itself). So while its true some on this forum knew part of the story, no one had it all until ESPN released it today.

Didn't he pull his "Read Whitlock" line around the same time?

It blows my mind that we know more than the coach of our basketball team...

There was no empty chair at MSG. I was some rows behind the bench and kept an eye on that one.

Well someone knew about the tape on this board and told me the contents before it was released and he was pretty much right about everything and it wasnt the john guy from syracuse. So its true.

Why would it? I think there are many connected folks on this board. JB is for the most part busy with coaching the team and playing golf :)

Yea, cause you planned on sitting in it.

That was from Tuesday...I think the tape stuff hit this board Wednesday but don't recall on that exactly. But the "Read Whitlock" line was from last Tuesday for sure...

Though there was not an empty seat at the garden, JB did leave a space during the National Anthem, when the team lines up on the court
