I’m sure he’s a great kid. Didn’t think he should be playing on a Syracuse roster going forward. A lower level program will be good for him.

agreed/ the best thing about him was his attitude ...which isnt enough

he cant really play center...hed be great if he was a little taller and could play backup C

stuck as PF...doesnt have much offense...idk...really prefer more offense there if were going with centers who cant really play offense. otherwise you have at least 2 non offensive players on the floor with him out there...which is a problem

wish him well...love his attitude but dont think he really increases winning chances...which is the point

Also, can't the guys who put their name in the portal choose to withdraw within a certain time frame? (if Syracuse wants them back of course) I dont see anyone actually changing their mind, but you never know..

Yes. JJ and Freeman were the only other two players on our squad from last year. Everyone else is out of eligibility or in the Portal.

But we should remember this when people flip out over us adding guys that are one skill players.

Another glaring example of how the portal coupled with NIL is just a complete disaster for most student athletes. It's like playing Scrabble. Throw all your chips in and start over from scratch. Maybe he will do well outside the P4
