Which do you think will be tougher for Syracuse to play in this year? I say Peterson.

I honestly don't know too much about Cameron. Up until we joined the ACC I never really cared about Duke, just always thought it was annoying how touted they were.

What gives Cameron the clear edge?

Its considered the holy grail of college hoops arenas and certainly in the ACC. Hot as hell, students right on the floor, small gym. That game will be their game of the year for sure. It will certainly be a challenge. We have played in the Pete so many times now we should be used to it.

Just seems like we should get used to it but we don't.

Alright it's impressive that Cameron has all that going on, but is it anything our players can't handle? What arena's is Syracuse University used to playing at that are somewhat even the slightest comparable to Cameron?

Maybe the RAC? Nothing that I can think of

The Pete. We've seen way too many good to great Syracuse teams get absolutely humbled there.

it's not so much the arena at cameron. it's gonna be loud and obnoxious granted . it's JB vs. Weaselface.

Yeah I don't know I just feel like we have a ways to go still at the Pete.

I think with Pitt we play a great team at a house of horrors.

I think with Duke we play a solid team relying on its home court advantage.

At Peterson the fans are within spitting distance with a good size loogie. But at Cameron, even the drunk chick can spit on our players. The problem with Cameron is the fans are so close to the visitors bench our players might end up getting an STD.

But I just can't wait to watch Duke play at Pitt and vice versa. All of sudden the NCAA is going to change sporting arena rules once Duke gets a taste of their own spitting distance medicine.

I feel more confident winning at Cameron than the Pete.

I think we lose both games. I would love to see an undefeated season. But those two venues will be very difficult for our players.

If you ask any other fan base in the country I think most would tell you Cameron. I think most Pitt fans would probably tell you Cameron if you talk about student sections and which place is tougher to play.

Who would stoop lower? I'd say Duke fans. Rich, white, prissy lill ...

Yeah, probably RAC. Cameron is old like RAC. Pete is a sharp newer arena where the students really crank it up with the noise. It isn't sweaty or old or anything like that. Probably twice the size of Cameron/BC's/RAC. I have been to PEC three times but never Cameron.

Anybody been to Lawrence, KS? I went to Stillwater once and that is hands down the most raucous and intense atmosphere I have witnessed. Pitt is up there for sure. I would think Breslin, Phog Allen, Assembly, Cameron, PEC, and Stillwater in no particular order have to be up there very high. Next tier maybe The Pit, Viejas, Rupp, Carrier Dome, O'Connell. I don't know. I like hearing players talk about various arenas and atmospheres.

Allen Field House is one of the toughest places to play. It is also one of the best as far a viewing the game. But, I think that almost any of the Midwestern courts are tough because basketball is close to a religion there. Even high school games are fierce in their fan support. I've been to games at the old Ahern Field House at Kansas State where the noise was so continually loud that all you could hear was sound waves .
