You got something against white people?

If we win both those games they ought to send him to the middle east and secure world peace.

You do realize that the one sent to do this in all the world prophecies is always the antichrist right?

You got something against white people?

It is racist both ways. People who think they deserve privilege because they are white is pretty prevalent in the south. When I visit my father-in-law in North Carolina they have a much different attitude about certain "types" of people. Even after the banking crisis cost the American tax payer 12 trillion or 12,000 billion he has never wavered that all our problems in this country are because of the 60 billion we spend per year on welfare. And that welfare people are "stealing" his money. Even though the banking crisis cost about 200 years of welfare. What I find amusing is he is an ex-FBI agent who receives a huge juicy pension. But of course that's NOT socialism and he "earned" that. I've been in the private sector my whole life and there hasn't been talk about pensions for 30 years. They just don't exist in the private sector. So I find it very amusing that it seems the people who are most against socialism turn out to be the very ones who benefit from it the most. I can assure you based on my experiences in NC describing Dukies as " Rich, white, prissy lill..." is probably accurate. I would just add "brats" and who think they deserve privilege over other people.

Allen Field House is one of the toughest places to play. It is also one of the best as far a viewing the game. But, I think that almost any of the Midwestern courts are tough because basketball is close to a religion there. Even high school games are fierce in their fan support. I've been to games at the old Ahern Field House at Kansas State where the noise was so continually loud that all you could hear was sound waves .

Right! Oh yeah and probably throw in that current arena in Manhattan, KS where KSU plays as well.

The Pete. We've seen way too many good to great Syracuse teams get absolutely humbled there.

With the assistance of BE officiating. Higgins and Burr won't be walking through those doors. We'll see if the ACC refs can tame the Panthers. ;)

The key element in both Cameron and The Pete is having students ring the court in the close up seats and not in a section a million miles away. Same at Breslin Center and Michigan.

To be honest, due to the acoustics, it's probably a lot better basketball atmosphere than a lot of the big east schools SU used to play. They get some good crowds at Alumni. Of course it was a joke that I put it in this thread.

We've lost games there, but I would only say that one of our best 3 teams has lost there.

2002-03 We lost there.
2009-10 Pitt beat us in the Dome, we didn't go there.
2011-12 We beat Pitt in the Dome, but didn't go there.

it's JB vs. Weaselface.

Please don't call him that! If you SU fans truly want to fit in with ACC you'd better start calling him "The Vicious Little Ferret" or "VLF" for short. Thank you.

Which do you think will be tougher for Syracuse to play in this year? I say Peterson.

Actually, we've played Pitt better at the Pete than at the Dome. I believe we are 3-5 there, with a high profile win that snapped a 40-something game home winning streak for Pitt a few years ago, IIRC.

I feel more confident winning at Cameron than the Pete.

Gotta worry about the refs. Duke gets ridiculous calls, especially at home. That's the major reason I hate their program. The refs' bias and Vitale constantly recruiting for them during games.

This is by far my favorite thing about being in the ACC. All new refs; no more Higgins and Burr. God those guys used to kill us.
