Syracuse ramped up contact and he hears from Cuse, Georgetown and Alabama the most now. He'd crush it here. I was feeling cautiously optimistic that Cuse would at least be a top choice, but after his quote on coaching I'm not positive he would want to play for someone with JB's hardnose style.
- I don’t want to force anything when it comes to schools,” Freeman said. “So I’m looking for something that just feels natural. I want to play for a player’s coach, someone who really cares for his players.
- Syracuse: “I knew a lot about them before my visit because I used to watch them growing up. I really learned how much they value players like me, guys with long and wiry frames. Being there, seeing the history of their program was cool.”
- “It would always be nice to stay close to home [DC], but I’m willing to wherever the best fit is to play in college. I want to go to a program that has a rich history of getting players to the league."
Of course, Hop better fits that description, and you never know what's going to happen by 2024...
