What was his previous on3 ranking? I was trying to find rankings history on their website last night but could find anything
I think he's generally creeped towards a better ranking, except for Rivals where he's slid throughout 2023. Rivals is the outlier in the 50s, whereas I believe the other main three sources are closer to 30.

I'm guessing he gave it a thumbs down because he expects to get 5 star status, and hasn't yet?

Love the scouting report:

"You immediately notice the basketball frame with Donnie Freeman. He has the long arms with the wide-set shoulders, a frame that should immediately add weight once it gets in a college weight program. Freeman has natural shot blocking timing. He does a good job contesting without fouling. You’d like to see him rebound it more consistently, but there is natural athleticism and fluidity in his movements. Offensively, Freeman can knock down a catch and shoot/pick and pop three. He has good form on his shot with a consistent release. He has also developed a one/two dribble pull up, comfortably getting to the elbows and mid range. Like to see him finish better in traffic. All in all, there are a lot of natural, projectable tools here."

I believe he was #36 in their rankings on May 11th when he committed.

When I wrote an article not long after Donnie verbally committed, On3 had him at No. 32 overall. The On3 Industry Ranking (composite) had him at No. 36.

He’s a much more versatile player than I originally thought. I was expecting like a Tyler Roberson type athletic big but this kid has skills.

Really in-depth scouting report on Freeman here with some videos to match, just click the link and you can read through it. Lots to like here, and if he puts on another 10-15 pounds before arriving on campus watch out.
