He’s most certainly not a billionaire lol he would’ve figured out how to help by now if he cared to
It depends on your definition... He is the owner of a business with $.75 billion annual revenue, and he pays himself around $50 million a year. He probably is worth billions (plural) but doesn't make a billion plus a year if that's what you mean.

Very very few people defined as billionaires actually have that kind of cash flow, they are taking about aggregate asset value.

It's hard to say. He could easily have mostly assets and minimal liabilities too...

“Adam Weitsman net worth is estimated to be around $1.2 Billion. Adam is a businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist based in America. He is the CEO of Upstate Shredding – Weitsman Recycling.”
Let me rephrase, I know for a fact he is not a billionaire.

A billionaire is defined by their net worth. His 2022 net worth is $1.2B. Both Forbes and the WSJ consider him a billionaire. At last count there were over 600 billionaires in the US of which Adam is one.

Again, I know for a fact he is not, but if you want to believe some random website, feel free I’m not hurt

I thought that Forbes did a pretty good job of verifying since Trump lied to them a few decades ago.

He may not be, if you go strictly by the ledger; who really knows? But, if he's "only" worth $700M, is there really an effective difference?

Cemented my eternal hatred of Kenny Anderson and Bobby Cremains. That's all we lacked, quality lead guard.

If Duncan had stayed, who knows. But Anderson taking a bag killed us.
Duncan and Hughes managed to get Rutgers to the dance for the first time since 1974.
Jimmy had a bad habit with his short bench chasing away talent in his early years. That probably has cost him in later years.

Yes, 300m difference, 40%

You know the valuation of his businesses and his debt and percentage ownership for them? Depending on what someone would pay as the multiple for his businesses it's very hard to say he's definitively not a "billionaire" on paper. Either way, at a minimum, he's worth well into the 9 figures. And I expect we'll see a lot more of him around Syracuse athletics in the next couple years. As far as Estrella goes, he seems to not care about NIL as much and I personally fully expect him to be Orange of the 315 variety.

Adam by all accounts is easily a billionaire.
Regardless, if he chooses to participate this is a rounding error for him.

Duncan left because he was behind Sherm and thought he should be ahead of him. Also, he and Sherm could not stand each other.

I heard Adam has close to $1 trillion in net worth and he’s planning to give JP half if he’s willing to do a billboard on 481 with an Upstate Shredding truck.
But, do you know this for a fact?

Maybe not the best place for this article but it gives great insight into what, specifically, Tennessee is doing in the NIL space:

Let's hope JP is being honest when saying it isn't a major factor in his decision making process.
The timing of the first public mention of the 315 Foundation and the fact that it was announced by JB and a basketball reporter, and the mention of a primary competitor for JP’s services having a large, established collective has to be just coincidental with the way it dovetails with Estrella’s announcement of a decision date, right?
