Kid blocked 5 shots in that Virginia game, blocked the shot against Gonzaga, nailed huge shots off the pick and pop.

Kid really had a GREAT freshman year and tournament.

He played out of position for awhile as a soph, and then struggled a bit to find his niche on that team, but still had a solid year.

Wish we could’ve seen him as an upperclassman, with the team “built” around him.

I get being excited about new recruits, but Flip would be doing extremely well to match Lydon’s freshman year.

I mean I think we could all see it coming that they were going to offer. I’m not really as worried as I usually am about them offering. Obviously it’s a big offer but we have Justin Taylor and they don’t. These guys are close. Also Coach K is not going to coach Flip for a second. He would be coached by a hall of fame coach here. Not too mention our roster here outside of Taylor already mentioned is set up for a deep run his freshman season if he decides to come here and we land either Copeland or JJ
