I know a lot of people want to say our OL is playing very well, but I think McCord’s quick decisions have an awful lot to do with it.
I’m thinking that is an adjustment that they’ve made intentionally. Tons of sit routes with big strong receivers. We don’t seem to have a guy who can consistently take the top off, and it’s impressive to see how Nixon and McCord have adapted

I think that is undoubtedly true.

But it also needs to be pointed out that the OL is doing a better job at pass protection than we've seen in recent years, and a little bit of time / clean pocket is all McCord needs. So while the OL hasn't been more than "average" relatively speaking, they've been OK.

Who played across the Dline yesterday

How did Wohlabaugh and Ilaoa grade out? They both played quite a bit I believe.

Ilaoa played 20 snaps. He was average for run blocking and failed for pass blocking.

I know Wohlabaugh played a little but they don’t have him listed. I only remember one series then I thought he got dinged up.

Jakers.

Tackling and ST’s both DFL.

Here’s hoping Fran and crew go extra heavy on Detail and Accountability during the bye week.

We don’t even need to be great, or even good at those things.
Mediocre would be a massive upgrade at this point.

Hey, Stonehouse is rated the #2 punter!

if he’s the backup center we’re screwed if anything happens to reed

Tackling has been terrible. Dead last. Ugh. I don't see how our pass rush is 6th. That doesn't seem correct to me. I'm sure most if it is because we often rush just 3 but still doesn't seem like it should be that high to me.
