Yup I am shocked with all the positive momentum Syracuse had nationally and all the money they reportedly had, they didn't go all in on a big name. They could have backfilled the roster with the likes of Dual at any time. It seems like they are doing things backwards. They needed to hit with a big name.

My initial reaction is the money wasn't real or inflated and didn't come to life.

This is kinda a ridiculous take. It’s early and we don’t need all flashy pickups. We need wins. And if Gmac and the crew can out together a crew that can win then who cares about the flashy guys you could have gotten.

I think this is a fine pickup but I'm really struggling to get past the lack of 3 point shooting. Good teams have shooters at multiple positions, and so far we are severely lacking in that department. Between losing Kingz and Betsey we're probably worse off. MMM can't make up for all of it as much as I love that pickup. Hopefully Gmac can round out the roster with other shooters

I think we have 5-6 mil to spread across 3 top 200 players and 1-2 mil left maybe for some euroball or deeper projects.

Don’t need flash. And we’ve got some good players. But we need some great players too. Maybe some of these guys become great. We need to make the tournament, and you have a better shot with better players.
