JJ is good enough to make the commitment that he is on the floor a lot from Day 1 no matter who is on the roster. Local kid who is given a national profile from a local program the moment he steps foot on campus. If the long haulers like Joe want a shot at a title ( not throwing away anything about this season just saying) they will make way for JJ to come right in and do his thing.

Use that strong rotation of centers and then just have fun being creative with things 1-4.

Things in our favor:

JJ may have been a Cuse fan growing up
Carrier dome is iconic and a huge venue
Parents can conveniently attend games
His notoriety in the Cuse area is and would be huge for nil opportunities.
Newhouse is as good as it gets
Will get plenty of minutes and freedom
Has a good cast of teammates
Team is competitive
Duke and it’s geographic area is saturated with good players given other nearby schools

Has anyone ever seen a normal Duke fan scattered somewhere in the upper deck in the Dome when we play them? People who aren’t from Durham and didn’t/dont go to Duke are ALL tools. 100% of them.

My roommate at Syracuse was a Duke fan growing up. Rooted for them any time they weren’t playing Syracuse. Weird dynamic there. Great dude though.
