Wow, I love this recent trend towards players who are accomplished. So sick and tired of the "uber" athletes with no hoop skills. When was the last time we ever recruited one of those types where it actually panned out ?

Love what Red is doing. The foundation will be solid. Just need a couple of big time pieces to cement it together. Hopefully Freeman and White are a couple of those guys.

Based on this article, it looks like he is planning to get to campus in July.

Awesome article, Tom -- thanks for posting.

So... the kid views himself as an NBA prospect. Interesting. Shows that Red, Alex Kline, etc. know what they are doing.

For reference, Tyrese Proctor played for the same team as Luke did back in 2022 and they put up similar numbers, but Luke was much more efficient this past season than Proctor was in 2022. Proctor came in as a consensus top 30 prospect. Not sure where Luke will end up in the rankings, but this looks like an outstanding addition by the staff. Below are links to their stats for those that also want to compare:

Not disagreeing but we did kinda try that in 22 with JG Buddy, Swider and Jimmy Jr and it didnt work out so well. The key is to find the right balance.

Other Offers: Florida, Louisville, St.Bonaventure.

In the words of the SU PA announcer, "A Thunder from down under."
Surprised St. Mary’s wasn’t in on him. They built their program with Australians

Yep which is why Sadiq is such a huge piece to get as is ( assuming) Costanza. Kiyan a bit of both and then you add the other pieces around.

This kid has a smoothness about him. Good length and not superquick but quick. Shot looks clean and he looks for others before himself. I like this a lot.
