Eh, we were down, ND was stacking the box, and needed to throw the ball downfield.

Besides he was either completing those passes, just barely missing them, or they were dropped. What’s concerning about any of that?

Seems contradictory that ND would stack the box at a time where Syracuse would need to pass the ball…

I just think it’ll be an easy adjustment for a team that prepares for him all week, man coverage (because the WRs get no separation) with a safety in zone over the top might be enough to 1) give the d line time to get to the QB or 2) force him into a mistake because he didn’t seem to look to his checkdowns. He might be fine and it was a one off considering the situation but I can only watch what is put on TV.
