Pitt suing big east

I get why SU did what they did, but the "right thing" was to not leave and stand by your partners in the face of impending financial windfall.

Period.

Does this mean that Pitt and WVU and Rutgers were wrong to leave the A-10 and not "stand by their partners"?

Goning on nearly 3 weeks and not much more said..from either the Pitt or 'Cuse side...what is the story here? Are we getting out in '13?

I expect this lawsuit to be settled quietly and quickly. The suit was a way for Pitt (and SU by default) to keep our exit a front-burner issue during this very transitional time in the Big East. Just a way to let the league know we haven't forgotten about the early exit.

Even without Marinara around, any "handshake agreement" that had existed was most certainly communicated through the league offices.
