(1 ) as for as i know this will be the new normal but texanmark has mentioned they may adjust the formula so that new season ticket holders cant jump long timers if in same donor blockso here is a question.. has this whole parking thing become a yearly thing now? will everyone select and then next yr 500 new season ticket holders buy in and displace more people?
or is once this has settled will it be slow attrition again.. you keep what you get until big lot changes happen and/or someone quits paying for a spot and some select few get a chance to elevate to a better lot?
and question number 2, since the deadline to buy up was passed a week ago why wait until june to get this done, everyone knew it was coming so why not just let the first group have at it?
how big are the window increments , are there 100 people at the very top who will be scrambling to get the lots right at the domes foot steps and lose something they have had for 30 yrs?
im assuming then for university and other garages the price per game is $5 higher to 30 so parking pass saves $30So I called my ticket rep regarding SkyTop parking and it looks like the advantage to buying the new season parking pass ($100.00) is to save $20 total over paying individually each game. SkyTop parking costs have risen to $20 per game vs $15 last year.
If you're going to every game it makes sense, if you plan on skipping a game or two, it doesn't.
As far as I know it doesn't guarantee a better spot as it's still first come first serve and you can still park there without a pass so it's strictly about saving a little bit of money.
It’s a terrIble process. It’s all about $$$$. They’ve lost complete sense of community. Well done, Syracuse.
May 29 th at 12:44 PM. Hopefully the :44 is a good omen. Been parking in Q3(now Quad) for 20 yearsi think the process is fine but new season ticket holders should not jump existing season ticket holders in same block
What would have been a better process?
Telling the 150 big money donors who lost their parking next to the Dome that they're being relocated to Skytop, and everyone else is unchanged?
Maybe we should have just built a new stadium at Skytop in the first place.
Having to do this yearly is a good process? And in our case, it’s likely displacing some longtime friends who have tailgated together for years, if I’m forced into another lot, this will probably be my last year of supporting the program.

with a awesome tailgate. Would kill me to lose it.

What happens in 4 years when construction is finished and the 180 lost parking spots open back up?
What happens when the Fine lot becomes Floyd Little Hall?
You'll be parking in BaldwinsvilleJune 11th @ 10am - I haven't donated anything I don't believe

I remember that idea being shot down 40 years ago.Maybe we should have just built a new stadium at Skytop in the first place.

Hmm, $20 per individual game to park a 20-minute bus ride from the Dome?
It's their parking lot, they can do what they want, but that sounds like gouging to me. A little unnecessary, since they have pretty much unlimited inventory up there and relatively fixed costs.
