AG just goes rogue way too often.

If he could just stay focused, he would be an immense talent, but he just loses track and gets into his own world.

Can't win that way, consistently. You can def win here and there when he's on fire, but not consistently.

A very encouraging performance by the team was what I saw. A huge improvement over what we saw the last time they played Virginia. Better offensively and better defensively. They definitely demonstrated that they belong in the NCAAT.

No, it wasn't error-free. You can point to any number of errors by our guys and even bad calls that denied us the win, but the fact that they needed a buzzer beater to take the win tells me that if/when we meet them again in the Tournament, we will almost certainly wipe those smiles off of their faces...

Sophomores used to be considered young and he is new to the program in a crazy year. Let's hope for a big learning curve, assuming he is still here next year.

A lot of people may disagree but Guerrier is too small to be 2nd option against a 6'9 behind a true 7'2 shotblocker. Third option sure, with the ability to pass out of it.

We were hot last year then Covid.
2 years ago we smoked Wake, we didn’t have Tyus and kept it close with Duke for 30 minutes.
We lost to the 1 seed on a last second 3 tgis year.

UVA was 11/35 (31%) from 3; on the year they shot 38% from 3; good for 18th in the country.

I feel like they had plenty of clean looks

Well, I'd rather have a bad shooter miss a three, but I get your point.

The guy with the ball is the threat to score, especially when under ten seconds like that. The D has to honor him. And decisions have to happen in fractions of a second. If a defender kicked out to their worst shooter and left a guy open in the lane and he gets a bunny, there would be a pitchforks and torches mob out for his ass.

That's basketball.
