You are right. We didn’t make shots. They were physical. They are not ready. Joe is getting BETTER at defense. Clemson is a really hard place to play. Jesse did not get to the corner. We can’t play man. The zone is easier to learn. The zone is is hard to learn.

players are fine. its that stupid defense that doesn't and can't work anymore because everyone can shoot and pass now. It's like trying to fight with one hand tied behind your back. it can be a change of pace D but not a base D. bring in any group of players you want, it will be the same.

I think his calmness can be attributed to the firestorm he created with the ACC. He has been very even keeled since that memo came out. Someone high up had to have had a conversation with him.
I haven’t heard him speak out of tone once since then.

I don’t even need to watch because he’s been that way all season. He doesn’t have the fire he once did, and that’s completely understandable. But you need that fire to win at a high level in this game. It ain’t there anymore. He got his ring, he coached his sons, and now he just likes being Syracuse Head Coach, Jim Boeheim.

When you don’t recruit well, you don’t perform.

I could do that, but what's the point? I couldn't make it through a minute of the presser. My fire for this season is dwindling, which really stinks. I'm trying to remain positive and optimistic, but it's so damn hard.

I think it’s more accurate to say “that will relieve some who were fearing he’d blow up.”
