He did…and it’s not!Didn't the coach say this was his best recruiting class ever? That comment alone shows he has lost touch with reality.

Hmmm. Not sure what to make of this. I like them too. From what I know about them, they seem like fine young men. However, I think it's a stretch (and probably a far one at that) to blame the system for their shortcomings. As for finding better skilled players... I just don't agree on that one. Now, we may very well not be able to land a better player (or even go after one), but they certainly exist.i like both bell and benny. these are both skill players stuck in a crumby system. i don't think you could find better in the portal if you let them leave.
Thursdays show, you can find the number on the forumIs it too much to ask one of the reporters to pose the following questions to him?
“Coach, earlier in the year you played some m2m, and before the season, you said you would play some M2man, is there any thought of giving that a chance down the stretch at this point.”
It’s not accusatory, it clearly states that something we all know that Coach said he would play man-to-man and actually played earlier this season and it’s a fair question to see if that’s still an option on the table.
If Boeheim blows up at that question, that’s on him, but somebody in the press corps has to ask that question. Or they’re just too afraid to at this point.
Who are you to universally define real fan? Lots of real NBA fans are rooting for their team to lose enough to get the #1 pick next year. My O’s were purposefully losing to get high draft picks and now are poised for 10 years of high performance. Sometimes hitting the bottom is the best thing. It’s better than lingering in mediocrity.I’ll say it for the umpteenth time and will keep saying it. A real fan doesn’t root against their team and wish bad things on them. If you’re fine with it that’s your choice.

This is what happens when leadership fails.Huge difference between professionals tanking and for college fans to be rooting for 18-21 year old kids to fail.
Played poorly and got beat bad the last two games and both times JB handled the pressers very well. That will disappoint those who were hoping he’d blow up.

Nobody is rooting for the kids to fail. Where did you see anyone say that?
Totally agree! However, I do feel it is time for JB to hand over the reins. There have been about 3-4 posts, long deleted, saying they wanted the team to lose to hasten the process. I don’t care what people feel about JB but I am sure those kids don’t want to lose.

This is the galvanizing moment. Either he takes responsibility and seize the moment and uses it to motivate the team and go on an "us against the world" run, or he keeps doing the same thing and spend his time going on shows to kick around some sand. This is what happens when leadership fails.
Jim needs to pull himself and the program together rather than wasting time trying to defend his teams terrible play by spewing nonsense.
He is, actually has placed himself in a separate position than his team which is often what failed leaders do.
Jim can still pull it together but he needs to right the ship now. Not necessarily win but rather change the focus from defending his failures to correcting them. Roll up your sleeves coach. Dig deep and coach these kids up to a respectable finish.
He wouldn't "blow up", he'd just be dry and sardonic, like has has been all season. We'd get some flavor of him rubbing his temple furiously and saying:Is it too much to ask one of the reporters to pose the following questions to him?
