Womack and Dungey are exciting recruits that have a lot of promise and talent (be it raw or refined).
However, Brown is a level of QB recruit that wouldn't be scared to come here and compete against those two. Not saying Brown is better, but all three are high level prospects.
Personally, I prefer Dungey over all 3 but have the belief that Womack will be great. I bet Brown will be versatile and dynamic, just hope he gets up after the first blitz we send his way.
For me, my eyes. I don't see any current players or commits being the answer.
Oooooo I read "better" instead of "lesser" on the quoted post. Yikes. My bad. Stand by what I said otherwise. You just agreed with a post that said that none of the current players or commits are the answer, then post that you think Womack will be great and you like Dungey even better than him - huh?
Maybe, but in losing 3 QBs to injury and ending the season with a true freshman one can infer that the OL wasn't quite doing a smashing job. Not their fault, either, as the OL had many injury issues of their own.QB protection hasn't been the issue, it's been run blocking.
You would think that a good quarterback would want to play with a running back like Washington. If the dominoes "do" start falling and we get some top 3 star and any more 4 stars, we should still get a decent QB. There is no way nobody doesn't want to hand the ball of to Robert.
We need to win games this year to really convince these recruits that this program is really going to change.
Assuming you're talking about Hilliman, Washington still has a substantially more impressive offer sheet. You realize that BC has a RB with an offer sheet as good, if not better, than Washingtons and has already proven itself at the collegiate level, you're RB argument makes zero sense
Washington stopped the at no.44 on his profile and i believe he had well over 60 offers. EXTREMELY HARD TO BEAT THAT WHEN ALL THE TOP PROGRAMS OFFERED.You realize that BC has a RB with an offer sheet as good, if not better, than Washingtons and has already proven itself at the collegiate level, you're RB argument makes zero sense
Robert Washington has the most offers of any RB prospect in the class of 2016. Good try, though. You realize that BC has a RB with an offer sheet as good, if not better, than Washingtons and has already proven itself at the collegiate level, you're RB argument makes zero sense
He's arguing that BC is in a better situation because they had a better prospect than Washington come in last year and already prove himself a stud at running back, Hilliman.Robert Washington has the most offers of any RB prospect in the class of 2016. Good try, though.
We are overlooking BC and Addazio. We are forgetting that Addazio was one of Madei's coaches, and O-line at that. The line protects the QB. There is enormous respect for Addazio amongst the 90's SU football alumni. Many if not most wanted to see him at SU. BC has historically recruited NJ VERY well.
Hate to throw it into the mix, but Madei is against the Restore44 movement and sides with his teammate McNabb. Don't think that really had much influence, but it's not great for him to have fresh in his mind when a recruit like Brown asks for last minute advice.
Here's what bugs me about the situation. Several knowledgeable folks here have said that the BC staff treated multiple recruits like s, and it would be nice if being a as a coach had consequences. Recruits keep buying into it, there is no incentive to be better. If I take my orange colored glasses off,
BC has an offensive identity
BC and Addazzio have proven results
Addazzio just signed an extension.
SU hasnt hired a new AD
HCSS and co are coming off 3 win season
SU offense was awful at best last year
Lester is running a new system in his first year
I can see why Brown would pick BC. Granted, no one knows what the future holds, but looking at situation right NOW, BC looks to be the better fit for a QB like him.
I also said if we get commitments from other high profile recruits, not just Washington. I don't care what BC has. We have Washington and a good quarterback will want to play with him. Read the post. Good players want to play with other good players. You realize that BC has a RB with an offer sheet as good, if not better, than Washingtons and has already proven itself at the collegiate level, you're RB argument makes zero sense
Too bad. All of the 4-5 star recruits that go to the big boy programs don't shy away from the competition. Brown seems pretty competitive. I hope that is not why he chose BC.Just from a few tweets that I saw I got the feeling Madei was not happy about the fans pushing Haskins over Brown.

Honestly, if the fact that some fans were suddenly dreaming big about getting one of the top 5 QBs in the country is what ultimately pushed him away, that's exceptionally weak.
You realize that BC has a RB with an offer sheet as good, if not better, than Washingtons and has already proven itself at the collegiate level, you're RB argument makes zero sense
So, if you really believe this then what you're saying is you're a really big fan of your program and less of a fan of reality. There's nothing wrong with being a fan of either one really, or both for that matter. However, if you're going to choose the former exclusively then people outside your own fan base really aren't going to take you serious. Just food for thought.

That is not what I said. Obviously reading is not one of your strong points. Lets see if your good at math. Hillman had 22 offers and Washington had (over) 41 offers. That's 21 more offers for Washington. Do you understand what I am saying here or are you still confused?I don't really understand what you're saying here. All I was responding too was the poster earlier who said Brown should have gone to Cuse because they picked up a good RB recruit. A lot of schools have good RBs, including BC who picked up an elite RB last year, as Washington is this year.
