LaNorris did us a favor in the long run. If he came here, we probably have a few more wins, and Dino doesn’t see the hot seat as quickly. But no way he doesn’t hit the portal and leave once he realizes we have zero OL’s to protect him and no WR’s to throw to. We were not the same squad as we are now. Ultimately, it worked out better for both parties. We got Fran and McCord, and he had the opportunity to turn down $8M.

This makes sense to me. One wildcard, though. Our receivers became dramatically better after Fran came to town. The attitude and fight for the ball improved for almost all receivers. Between that and the number of drops we saw under HCDB … it’s enough to really dampen expectations for any QB

Not a disagreement about nixon but I thought Anae called a pretty good game in first half of 2022. Went 6-0 and beat a few good teams. Obviously things fell apart and that was not sustainable nor was he a good fit. Looking back, what a medicore group of WRs aside from Gadsen.
