Because he’s a writer. Maybe he assumes we’re nobody and of course Sellers would look at higher profile programs. Doesn’t matter, Sellers didn’t say it, so there’s a big difference.

Well you are correct in that a writer from the South, writing for a South Carolina publication in Florence, SC which is 80 miles away from South Carolina U, probably can't understand, and isn't convinced, the best player in South Carolina is going to leave South Carolina for Syracuse. So that's why the writer would say another school.

Writers in the South actually pull for their hometown schools and question why anyone would go anywhere else. These writers aren't Syracuse writers like Axe.

My comment is only that it's not a quote from Sellars or his family. That doesn't mean they aren't kicking the tires.
