EDIT : I just had a daydream that during spring practice the new QB coach discovers he's been gripping the ball funny (or some similar "how the hells did that get missed" type easily fixed mechanical issue) and Nelson is suddenly Patrick Mahomes from 2022. He's now my QB binky. Thanks overactive imagination.

For sure, I doubt he takes a meaningful snap here much less starts but if he's OK coming in and being a back up guy and we have a spot (we clearly do) then I am all for it.

Let’s hope we never have to see him. If things stay as they are i’d wager 3rd string. I think Odom is much better.

Not his first game last year...the point is..we went out and got guys who have some college experience as opposed to starting high school kid who never played in college!
