Darius Johnson is a Miami Northwestern guy and so is Taron Dickens. With Dickens already rumored as a possible Syracuse target you’ve got to wonder if he’d prefer his hometown teammate running the offense instead of Stokes. It adds an interesting layer to the whole QB conversation.

To me, it looks like he’s all-in on both. I definitely want Stokes, and I’d also like the Memphis freshman quarterback who just entered the portal, especially since we’re bringing in two quarterbacks. From what I’ve seen, Stokes brings elite processing and a big-time arm.

But after watching his college film. Can’t argue the production…dude wins, and he’s got a pretty lively arm. Better than anything we had last year minus Angeli. I would be very comfortable with him being the back up.

Also with that being said. Fully expect him to be Orange after his visit. I know he has other visits in the works but I don’t think he takes them. Also think we will have a few transfer commits within the first week/week and a half of the portal opening.

Expect stones, a couple kids from Toledo, and we have another couple that we have had some back door convos with that are in the works. I think Fran knows he needs to hit the portal hard this off-season and he’s been doing such behind closed doors and I’m confident we’ll land some highly touted guys in the portal

I'm greedy but would love to land the Toledo DE, one of the LBs and their safety Awls. Would be a great secondary partner for Samuel and Peal.

D'Appolonia is from PA and his lead recruiter was Kehres, so have to believe we have a great shot at him.
