So I am hearing people say spend whatever and bring this guy in but what is the sell here? He isn't McCord going 12 and 1 at Ohio State. He was 2nd string last 2 years and projected 3rd string before hitting portal. Had 268 yards 3 TDs this year. From NJ so ties likely there. If he comes here he won't have what McCord had with experienced weapons and a decent oline. I think people are saying he is more similar to McCord than Collins and so people are hoping to get another unicorn here?

It's hard not to be excited about the idea of getting Angeli and having him as QB1 because he's a proved commodity; we don't know much about Collins. He's like a mystery. And though I more than trust Fran and company, not seeing Collins in the Spring Game (though I understand why) continues to make him a mystery.
