Because Angeli has looked great in his admittedly limited experience. Collins is a mystery that no one knows anything about. Also Angeli looked sharp at the end of the second half against Penn State in the playoff.I’ve been watching this unfold pretty quietly but I’m super confused why some people are acting like Ricky is now an after thought and this kid is the next McCord. Maybe I’m missing something? I’m glad he’s here… I just don’t get the hype? He got beaten out by a QB who has thrown for 4 yards in his college career. Competition is good and maybe he wins the starting job, I want the best player to play but the situation feels more Drew Allen than Kyle McCord.
That's impossible, he was signing autographs before the Sping Game! Didn't someone on here speculate that Collins hand must be worse than we thought? Oh yeah that was me!Axe was saying that Collins had surgery on the thumb on his throwing hand, expected return in June.
Honestly I think not playing in the spring game is really hurting the perception of Collins.
It was always going to be interesting.A little trivia: the kid that apparently has won the ND QB starting job is CJ Carr. He is the grandson of Lloyd Carr, the former UM HC. From what I can determine, he has a really strong arm but struggles some with accuracy.
Angeli‘s strength, based on what I have read, is his poise and accuracy.
If Steve wins the starting job, that game in South Bend is setting up as being very interesting.
Please name the times. If I had a $ for every time I've heard that here over the years...
He wouldn’t be here otherwiseMy money is on Angeli as starter.
It definitely hurts my perception of him. I'll list my reasons for not being excited about him, they are as follows;Honestly I think not playing in the spring game is really hurting the perception of Collins.
Imagine if that happens during the season too.Axe was saying that Collins had surgery on the thumb on his throwing hand, expected return in June.
Hah. How many times did we hear that when Pena left. Winning is all that matters. All I can think about is the lost locker room...
It’s been a running joke here for years and years. Pick pretty much any season going back to the mid 2000s and you can fine someone(s) saying “our QB room has never been deeper!”.Please name the times.
Film that’s whyI don't have any inside information, but Collins is a more highly rated transfer, so why do people assume that Angela would just beat him out?
I sure hope Trebor finds himself a program that will feature him because Cuse could be running the same damn offense through Angeli with a ton of targets that coulda been PenaNo. His standard was 2024 and self conscious about what it would mean if it couldn’t match that. He took advantage.
I still think Pena will come crawling back, especially now.I sure hope Trebor finds himself a program that will feature him because Cuse could be running the same damn offense through Angeli with a ton of targets that coulda been Pena
Belief without evidence…. except there was evidence … and that’s the wrong staff anyways
But didn’t they just spend his money?I still think Pena will come crawling back, especially now.
Watch his film(s) closely, and if you have an eye for this stuff, you will see it, then you will get it.I’ve been watching this unfold pretty quietly but I’m super confused why some people are acting like Ricky is now an after thought and this kid is the next McCord.
