You all make me laugh
Exactly that is the challenge that I certainly recognize and I really do like our young linemen, I said Geer was our best recruit in 2021 and even as great as Sub Zero is, I will stick with that pick.Obviously the players still have to fit the scheme, but I think we can get some more beef without losing a ton of speed and agility. Of course, players that have both are being paid hundreds of thousands to lose at Texas AM.
And they run the ball 1000 times a game and control the game/clockHelps when your defense has held 4 teams to under 10 points too….
I mean I’m not ruling out Garrett playing well when he gets back in but Clemson 2H and ND 1H we’re beyond bad and why we lost both.To play Devils advocate, we were saying the same things with Tommy Vs Dungey in 2018. Wonder if this is an overreaction.
Exactly. Case closed. Garret Shrader with a broken leg is better than CD-RW (or CDR-W, or is it C-DRW? Someone call the Athletic Department, they will know)190 passing yards vs. 35 passing yards.
Cooper had 2 and they're all on 3rd down. Time to let him sit.At least five. Hatcher 1, Cooper 1, Gadsden 3 (woof).
Other than it being the Syracuse program, the situations aren't all that similar. To play Devils advocate, we were saying the same things with Tommy Vs Dungey in 2018. Wonder if this is an overreaction.
FifyExactly. Case closed. Garret Shrader with a peg leg is better than CD-RW (or CDR-W, or is it C-DRW? Someone call the Athletic Department, they will know)
He does resemble a pirate, doesn't he?Fify
This is really well said.I don't questions GS heart, will to win, or running ability. I do question GS arm, accuracy, and decision making in the pocket.
The things I DON'T question are highlighted against weaker opponents.
The things I DO question are highlighted against stronger opponents.
I think GS is fine if we are just trying to grind our way to 6 wins but our ceiling as a team is super limited because of his weaknesses.
Then that would be crap, to lose your starting job because I’d injury. 2 weeks ago Shrader was god, I don’t think has as good or bad as people are saying here.If we don’t lose any CDRW starts and the offense is clicking, Shrader will get Pipp’d.
Team CDRWUm, yeah, man, Shrader doesn't pass like CD-RW, like, at all.
Be honest: Have you ever seen Shrader make some of the throws CDRW made today? Then that would be crap, to lose your starting job because I’d injury. 2 weeks ago Shrader was god, I don’t think has as good or bad as people are saying here.
Yeah, he makes the future at QB very interesting, at least.Team CDRW
Kid spins it.
Between what we saw of Lamson in the spring game and what we saw today, definitely feels like QB has made some legitimate strides in talent and ability.Props to the staff for adding a quality QB transfer late in the process. I was encouraged with what I saw. Roll with him. Shrader will have to battle it out when he gets healthy.
Garrett is a warrior and did the work and improved tremendously. But with his mechanics he’s limited even with the improvement.Yeah, he makes the future at QB very interesting, at least.
For all his faults here DeVito always threw a beautiful ball, but CD-RW's might even be better.
Props to the staff for adding a quality QB transfer late in the process. I was encouraged with what I saw. Roll with him. Shrader will have to battle it out when he gets healthy.
agree. We will need to seriously address the WR position in the portal. Seems our young QB likes to zip the ball all over the field and doesn't lock onto a single target.

So once you’re the starter, it’s permanent? Did you watch how he played the last 2 weeks? Heck, he wasn’t good throwing against NC State either. Then that would be crap, to lose your starting job because I’d injury. 2 weeks ago Shrader was god, I don’t think has as good or bad as people are saying here.
Move Shrader there once he’s healthy…..We will need to seriously address the WR position in the portal. Seems our young QB likes to zip the ball all over the field and doesn't lock onto a single target.
But I’m back baby!!!I feel like if I said start CDRW last week posters would be calling for my head
